Dearest Ann, yesterday we said our final goodbye and finally you got to rest. It doesn’t seem fair that you had to leave us all so soon and I don’t know the anger will ever completely go but you are going to be missed more than you know for always. ‘Family isn’t always blood’…and that was definitely the case for us. You’ve been such an important person in mine and the girls life from the beginning, just as you were for Riley and I know you would have been for Ruby. You always said we were the daughters you never had and she is the little pink one you always wished for. I promise I will make sure she knows all about you as she grows up, show her your picture and speak about you everyday. We were lucky to have had some of the best memories with you growing up and those are what I will hold onto through the tough weeks ahead. Thank you for being the bestest friend to my mum and the best Auntie we could have hoped for, not only to us but to our babies too. We were truly lucky to have been loved by you and no one will ever compare. Sleep peacefully Auntie Ann you will be missed more than you know. Love you always Emma & little Ruby Ann xxxxxx
